Insurance & Out-of-Network Billing

I am a private pay, out-of-network provider, meaning I am not contracted with insurance companies. Clients are responsible for paying my fee in full at each session. However, some clients can get partially reimbursed through their insurance companies. Please contact me and I will help you navigate the process.

If you are interested in using out-of-network benefits, I recommend starting with a call to your insurance company to ask the following questions:

  • Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health coverage?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

Payment

I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a late-cancellation fee.

Any Other Questions

Please contact me for any additional questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!

No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
